Anyone have any advice on how to get a pog to use their wheel? Pia has a lovely big bucket wheel in her cage, but doesn't seem to have the foggiest as to what it's for. I'm planing on getting a hedgehog soon and was wondering, the room I have planed to keep him in has no windows because I live in the basement of my home, my hedgie, of course will be well heated, but would the room having no windows harm his sleeping/living habits?
Also, when would be the best times to play with him?
How often should I bathe him?

my fiance and i just brought home our first hedgehog, a rescue we named hammy.
she's done nothing but hide from us all day and night, and she will only eat and drink if we take away her hiding spots (an igloo, and a tube.) could this just be the stress of moving to a new home or should we be concerned?
